The Historic Effects of Democrat Control on Pittsburgh, PA

Pittsburgh reached it’s highest ranking among American cities in 1910 when it ranked 8^th. It slipped to 9^th in the 20’s and 10^th in the 30’s and 40’s. In 1934 after several Republican mayors Pittsburgh began a run of Democrats that has lasted until the present. Under their most coveted Mayor, David Lawrence in 1950 we boasted over 676,000 citizens. Now under the thumb of our 13^th in a row Democrat Mayor and city government with just over 300,000 residents we come in at a commanding 63^rd ranking of cities in America. But we do have bike lanes. Keep voting Democrat my friends.
