the upsurge of an eagle in flight
The Mechanical Model Caliber 0200 owes its highly original dial design to the advanced metal-deposition technology known as electroforming. The brand symbol of The CITIZEN is the eagle mark, and the electroformed pattern on the dial evokes the feathers of eagles’ wings, conjuring a sense of dynamic movement within a subdued colour palette. The contrast between the straight lines of the hands and indexes versus the more organic curved lines behind makes for a striking dial in which the aesthetic and the functional merge.
